InfoComm 2025: Tech, Insights, and Trends
From smarter collaboration to seamless unified communications (UC), here are some highlights from the latest pro AV trade show in Orlando, Florida.
InfoComm 2025 Just concluded in Orlando, drawing over 30,000 attendees, 800 exhibitors, and 250 speakers from across the professional AV space. Held June 11–13 at the Orange County Convention Center, the event featured cutting-edge audiovisual tech, as well as a focus on video conferencing, digital collaboration, and unified communications (UC). These solutions are reshaping how people work and connect across hybrid environments.
For the HP | Vyopta team, it was a great opportunity to engage with customers, prospects, and partners to share how we’re optimizing collaboration experiences in physical and virtual spaces. From AI-driven insights to smarter meeting spaces and the convergence of IT and HR, here are the top trends that caught our attention at InfoComm 2025.
AI Is Reshaping the Collaboration Experience
AI was everywhere at InfoComm 2025, powering smarter meetings, voice and video, and predictive analytics. For collaboration and UC leaders, the focus has shifted to proactive, real-time insights that improve both IT operations and user experience.
At our booth, customers in healthcare, finance, automotive, manufacturing, and professional services were excited about HP | Vyopta’s AI-driven capabilities. We showcased our contextual intelligence, unified visibility, and actionable alerts across a wide range of business collaboration applications, devices, and infrastructure, all designed to enhance the employee experience and improve productivity.
Rethinking Meeting Rooms and Real Estate Footprints
With commercial real estate in crisis and hybrid work now the norm, organizations are under pressure to optimize every square foot. A major theme at the show was how insights on space utilization can guide smarter real estate decisions and ensure meeting rooms actually match how teams work today in the office.
HP | Vyopta’s Space Insights takes it several steps further. It works by combining calendar data, collaboration device metrics, and occupancy analytics into a single view that reveals how meeting spaces are actually used. Space Insights helps organizations reduce inefficiencies, detect underutilized rooms, and make smarter decisions about tech and real estate investments.
DEX Connects IT and HR
Another key theme was digital employee experience (DEX) and how it’s quickly become a strategic priority for both IT and HR leaders. DEX refers to how employees interact with workplace technology, which includes collaboration and UC. From onboarding to engagement, the convergence of tech and people-focused initiatives is blurring traditional lines and creating new opportunities to deliver value across organizations.
HP | Vyopta is advancing the HP Workforce Experience Platform (WXP) to deliver near real-time insights across leading collaboration tools, including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, Poly, and CMS. This combined solution gives IT teams the visibility they need to monitor meeting quality, track room utilization, and optimize endpoint performance. Together, WXP and Vyopta enhance productivity in hybrid work environments while extending WXP’s AI-driven DEX capabilities with deeper analytics into UC performance.
